Hwang Heekon

Heekon Hwang is CEO of Gyeongnam Tourism Organization(GNTO) and has active as a HOD of Korea in ISO/TC228 – Tourism and related services. He worked as a professor and top expert in MICE industry. Past 30years he motivating and talented Convention and Exhibition Professor driven to inspire researchers and students to pursue academic and personal excellence. Consistently strived to create a challenging and engaging learning environment in which researchers and students become life-long scholars and learners. Exceptional track record of research success with multiple published articles.

Eunjoo Yoon

Professor Eunjoo Yoon has been conducting research and educational activities on the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) industry since 1999. Since 2006, she has been supervising master’s degree programs at Hallym University of Graduate Studies, and she publishes the Global MICE Insight magazine through the Institute of Convention & Exhibition Management (icem), while also directly hosting the Sourcing Fair exhibition in collaboration with coex. She has authored several specialized books, published numerous papers, and has been actively involved in building a global network by participating in events such as ASAE and PCMA.

Professor, Hallym University of Graduate Studies

Hwabong Lee

Professor Hwa-bong Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Service Business Management at Hallym University of Graduate Studies. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and a Ph.D. in Special Event Business Administration from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Professor Lee brings a wealth of real-world experience to the classroom, having worked for 23 years in festival planning and exhibition/convention planning. He has held various positions, including Festival Director at the Seoul Fringe Festival and Exhibition/Convention organizer at COEX.
Currently, He is also working as CSO(Chief Strategic Officer) of Institute of Convention & Exhibition Management (ICEM), Seoul, Korea.

Migyeon Kim

Ms. Migyeon Kim holds a master’s degree from Hallym University Graduate School and is a Ph.D. candidate in Hospitality Management at Kyung Hee University. With a focus on the MICE industry, she boasts over 7 years of hands-on experience in the field. Currently, she serves as a project leader for various conventions and events within the industry.
